Scrappy block --- What will I grow up to be?

Remember the spool blocks I'd started?  Well, you trim part of the squares off after sewing the single blocks and I had all these little scraps that were meant for the garbage, but I couldn't make myself pitch them in the garbage!!  So.... I just started sewing them together, no rules, no set seam allowance, etc and came up with this off kilter block.  But... I LOVE IT.  Think I'm gonna make a square mug rug for work with it.  I like that it's haphazard.  What do you do with your scraps?  --Quiltpecan

Actually, the colors are brighter than they look in this pic.  Seems they do this when i photograph in the evening.  But you get the gist of my haphazard sewing.  :-)
