She was trying it out and letting the oil work through. See her paint covered body... LOL She had been working with the Art Club at Summer School that day. :-) |

Another Goodwill Deal
I saw a sewing machine table at our local Goodwill. I wanted the table mainly because even though it wasn't in pristine condition, it was made of REAL WOOD! and not the pressed wood like mine. It had a sewing machine but I really just wanted the table. The price started at $75 but kept getting marked down. When it got to $25 I decided to get it. Not sure why I never checked to see how the machine came out... but I didn't. The machine will come out but the newer machines won't fit in it. It had a FINESSE machine in it and my daughter and I cleaned it up and oiled it and etc. Turns out the machine runs and works as good as if not better than my newer one!!!! It has a heavy metal body and looks to be a solid machine. My daughter always wants to learn and played around sewing that night. Even if she doesn't use it, I WILL!! :-) Think I got a great deal! --Quiltpecan

What a great find. I am jealous. I love thrift stores.
