"Owl" are you today?

Owls are everywhere in the stores these days.  I have to say I'm a bit intrigued by them myself!  My daughter has picked up a owl school bag and lunch box.  I made an owl purse back in the spring that I love.  (pictured above)  Today I also saw an owl hat for young adults.  It was cute.  Well... you know there has to be an owl quilt block somewhere, right!!  Well, our blogging buddy at Sunflower Patch has found one at Buzzing and Bumbling.  It is very cute.  I think I'm going to have to give it a try myself.  I like that it is pieced and not appliqued.  (I'm not so confident doing applique.)
