I can crochet. Not talented by any means but I can do a little. I'm definitely out of practice. My 10 year old daughter went and found a crochet hook and yarn in my sewing room the other day and now she wants to learn. I tried showing her a simple chain however she is a Leftie! :-) We did find a You Tube video that helped us get her started. She now has my interest peaked and I have been playing around with it a little too. I've never made a big project but think I may try. She is like me and has big ideas of all the things she wants to make. LOL I'm not going to deter her though. I'm glad she's interested.
I want to learn to TAT. Some of my Great Grannies and Great Aunts can but not many. Of course many of them have passed away and I can't sit with them. I am fortunate enough to have some of their pieces or at least a small piece of them. It's such a neat craft. Do any of you reading this know how to tat? Where's a good place to go (online or books or other resource) to learn?
What things do you want to learn? I hope I always want to keep trying something. Even if my wishes are more than my time allows! :-) Have a wonderful Sunday!! --Quiltpecan
