This is a Christmas present I gave to my favorite mother-in-law this past week. Quiltpecan came to town because of her father's illness and we found time to shop at one of our favorite quilt shops. I had bought the purse handle on "ETSY" back in the spring. Then, all I had to do was find the time to make the purse! My own lovely parents have had many health issues this past year, and I found that I needed/wanted to make myself available for any/all issues. And, of course, my lovely grand-triplets were born in August and my son and daughter-in-law live 30 miles away, so I use to go every Wednesday and Thursday to help there, but, now I just go on Wednesdays. And, I found I had no time to sew or blog : ( Then, with my plate, totally full, what do I get in the mail? A jury summons! I sat right down and sent in my form with a letter explaining JUST my need to help my parents! And, last week, I received a letter saying I had been excused! An early Christmas present to ME! So, I did want to thank everyone that is interested in our blog and finally let you know a few things going on. I also want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and hope everyone enjoys the blessings of great health and happiness! Sydneykatt

Actually I think that we bought this fabric on the day we had planned that was just ours!! Did we really have a day for ourselves!!!! Hard to imagine!! LOL The purse is so much prettier than this picture shows. The fabric is a cool country scene. :-) I'm sure she loved it.
