I found this adorable changing table at Goodwill for $6.75. It was in good shape, but, I still have to go over the whole thing : ) It needed cleaning, which I did : ) It needed some of the spindles to be re-glued, which I did : ) And, it needed a new paint job, which I did : ) And, all the screws needed tightening, and I did that too : ) I happened to have a NEW, unopened pad, that I had purchased a few years ago for 75 cents! So, I went to my sewing room and found this Michael Miller, DICK and JANE print and covered the pad with it : ) The pad is the right width, but a little longer, but I figure, it may save bumping a few heads : ) Now, for anyone new to this blog, I am an expectant grandmother of TRIPLETS : ) A boy and twin, identical girls : ), and completely NATURAL, I might add : ) So, what do you think of my $7.50 purchase? Oh my gosh - triplets!! I bet you are glad you are the expectant grandma and not mom! I would be. That is very exciting but a lot of work, glad they will have you for support. I am a labor and delivery nurse and we have had a couple sets of triplets born at our hospital, pretty special. Great bargain hunting by the way.
