Jar Quilt

This project has been "tabled" for about 2 years!  I guess I thought if I waited long enough, it would make itself!  I have been collecting these novelty fabrics for some time : )  Each of these fabrics have special meaning for special people : )   One example,  my dad used to collect stamps, so  there are a couple of "jars" of stamps.  My husband and his family come from farm country in Indiana, so there are a couple of "jars" of different tractors and farmland : ) Of course, the sewing "jars" are for my Mother and Quiltpecan and myself : )  It has been a lot of fun to collect these fabrics, and I finally decided, I NEED to finish this quilt!  I also had some "newspaper print" fabric in my stash and used that for the sashing.  One thing for sure, there is not another one like it in the world!  Sydneykatt
